Statement:

The goal of my work is to interpret a wide range of literary expression through visual art, thereby adding a transformative dimension to painting. The literal content includes quotes, lyrics, poetry and prayer on the deep and soulful side, and schedules, ingredients, and to do lists on the quirky side. Using "Venetian Fresco”, a technique I developed with colored plasters and thick textures, are instrumental in my work. I hope to engage buyers in a visual and intellectual way, and provide a conversation piece that can be shared and treasured for a lifetime and beyond.
